Who We Are
FoodAnalysts was born out of a simple frustration: food reviews on the internet are almost always terrible. They're either paid advertisements dressed up as opinions, shallow takes with no real analysis, or buried under so many affiliate disclaimers that you can't tell what the writer actually thinks.
We set out to do something different. Our team of food enthusiasts, home cooks, and occasional professional eaters believe that people deserve honest, thoughtful food reviews — written by people who genuinely care about what they put in their mouths.
What We Analyze
We cover a broad but focused range of food and beverage topics:
- Fast food reviews — burgers, chicken sandwiches, sides, and everything in between
- Packaged snacks & treats — cookies, ice cream, candy, and specialty products
- Coffee & espresso — beans, brewing methods, and home equipment
- Kitchen gear — bread makers, espresso machines, specialty appliances
- Food explainers — cultural deep-dives into foods you've always been curious about
Our Review Process
Every review on FoodAnalysts follows a consistent methodology. For food reviews, we evaluate taste, texture, value, consistency, and context. For product reviews, we test under real home-use conditions over multiple sessions before writing a single word. We use a 10-point scoring system across key criteria, and we always give our honest overall verdict — even when it's not what a brand would want to hear.
We also do deep-dive explainer articles for foods, snacks, and kitchen equipment that people search for but struggle to find reliable information about. Our goal is always to be the most useful article on any given topic.

Our Commitment to Honesty
We are not paid by restaurants or food brands to write positive reviews. Some articles contain affiliate links to products we review — if you buy something through those links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. However, this never influences our ratings or conclusions. Our opinions are our own.
If we think something is overrated, we'll say it. If we think something is worth every penny, we'll say that too. FoodAnalysts exists to give you the kind of honest take you'd get from a knowledgeable friend — not a sponsored post.
